CHALLENGE
With a decline in brand loyalty and readership, the world’s first global trade book publisher ‘Penguin Books’ is seeking an advertising and promotional campaign that reignites readers’ love for the iconic little orange book.
EXECUTION
My design features a boisterous and imaginative handwritten font that is approachable for all ages. With an emphasis on nostalgia, the adolescent stylistic components of the poster design position the viewer to reminisce on the memories of their adolescence and their times of feeding their imagination through reading. The colour palette is representational to the complexity of human emotions and every human associates colours and memories on a profoundly personal level. This campaign is designed with the intention to have a visual aesthetic that makes people want to display on their wall or inspiration board.
